Installing It Right

Preparing and compacting the subgrade before laying geomembrane

Prepare the Ground

Flat, compacted soil with no sharp stones or roots. Aim for at least 90% compaction.

Controlling the overlap between adjacent geomembrane sheets

Watch the Overlap

Keep sheets overlapped by 100–150 mm so the weld comes out clean.

Dual-track hot wedge welding of geomembrane seams

Weld the Seams

LLDPE welds easily on standard hot wedge machines; extrusion welding for corners and pipes.

Questions Buyers Usually Ask

What is the minimum order?

In-stock sizes start from just one roll, which covers urgent repairs and small pilot jobs. Custom thickness, width or color starts from one 20 ft container, which keeps the batch even and the price per square meter low.

How long does production take?

Standard sizes leave the factory in 7 to 14 days after we confirm the specification and the deposit. Custom orders take longer, and we give you the exact date in the quotation before production starts.

Do you use recycled resin?

No. Every batch is about 97.5% new polyethylene with roughly 2.5% carbon black and UV stabilizers, mixed to the GRI-GM17 recipe. No recycled material, ever. You get a Certificate of Analysis with your batch.

When should I pick LLDPE over HDPE?

Pick LLDPE when the ground is uneven, when the site may settle over time (landfill caps, mine closures), or when the layout has lots of corners and pipes. Pick HDPE for flat sites with aggressive chemicals. Not sure? Send us the site details and we will tell you which one fits.

How do you check quality before shipping?

Every roll passes our own lab first: thickness, tensile, elongation, tear, puncture and carbon black tests to ASTM methods. If your tender asks for it, BTTG or TRI Environmental can come and witness the goods before loading.

What do you need to send me a price?

Six things: product type, thickness, roll size, quantity, destination port and what the liner is for. Drawings or tender documents speed things up.
